Big trouble in little China
Tiger Translate Beijing saw over 1,000 guests gather at the heart of Beijing’s famous Factory 798 art district. Guests experienced a multi-sensory fusion of live music, live art and over 25 newly commissioned works by selected artists from across Asia. The event brought international names like Jeremyville, Ben Frost, Luke Bennett and Jon Burgerman into China for the very first time to collaborate and create with Chinese graffiti-artist Li Qiu Qiu and illustrators Song Yang and Nie Jun in the third global event for 2007. Berlin Berlin
The Tiger Translate Berlin event held from 11-12 May came hot on the heels of the New York showcase and this time, over 1,400 avid art and design lovers turned up at Monbijou Strasse in Mitte to see the best of Asia's art and design talents mix it up with their counterparts from Germany. Two days of exciting original content by international names such as Stefan Marx, Bank, Ann Xiao and Eboy proved a unique showcase event held as part of annual international design festival.
